Introduction

Welcome to Regional Events and Activities for College Hires (REACH). We understand that starting a new job can feel a little unfamiliar. That’s why we created this useful program to help you easily settle into your new environment. REACH is a resource for relocation tips, local information, networking, meeting other people in the area, and professional growth and development. Here’s how it works:

REACH resources can help you even before your first day at Boeing:

  • Relocation
    • Housing suggestions
    • Roommate contacts
  • Local area info
    • Restaurants
    • Sports events
    • Transportation
    • Night life
    • Cultural highlights
  • Networking
    • Contact with other recent hires
    • Contact with leadership

REACH also helps you after you have arrived at Boeing:

  • Networking events to meet other people in the area
  • Professional development events
    • Discussions with Boeing executives
    • Panel discussions on various career related topics like working internationally and rotation programs
    • Career and education fairs
    • Lunch and Learn forums that address topics such as buying your first house or investing in your 401(k) plan.
  • Community service projects
  • Adapting and influencing the Boeing culture
