Kent is located about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma. Kent began as a farming and dairy community -- the original home of the Carnation Milk company! Today, Kent is home to REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.), and Raleigh Bicycles USA. Hot air balloons paint the sky each year as part of Kent's Cornucopia Days, the largest street fair in the Pacific Northwest.
