Boeing Chooses Challenger for Maritime Surveillance Missions

At the Dubai Airshow on Nov. 18, Boeing announced the Bombardier Challenger 605 business jet as the platform for its newest Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance program.

Part of Boeing’s Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) program, the airplane will incorporate proven mission system technology currently used by the P-8A program.

Challenger 605 has the power, payload capacity, range, speed and endurance for  MSA’s missions including anti-piracy, coastal and border security and long-range search and rescue.
