F/RF-111C Modifications and Support

Boeing Australia has ten years experience in support of the F-111 aircraft, both at RAAF Base Amberley and in the US with the F-111 Avionics Upgrade Program, and has established a support network for both design engineering and spares manufacture and sourcing. The company is unrivalled in its knowledge of F-111 systems integration and is nominated as the Design Authority for this scope of work. In addition to this, Boeing Australia is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the post-AUP avionics systems and retains the people and the knowledge required to maintain and enhance these systems.

Nearly 700 Boeing personnel at RAAF Base Amberley are responsible for the F-111 WSBU, WSSF, F-111 Block Upgrade projects and in the support of various workshops on the base, as well as Deeper Maintenance for the RAAF B707 fleet.

With this heritage, Boeing Australia understands and accepts the significant responsibilities associated with the management of airworthiness for the F-111 fleet.
