Aerospace Support

Boeing Australia’s Aerospace Support business unit boasts a broad range of business capabilities in both the military and commercial aerospace sectors. For military customers this includes maintenance, modifications, upgrades, and through life support of aerospace platforms and their associated systems. For commercial airline operators, Aerospace Support delivers integrated fleet maintenance solutions, engineering and technical support and regulatory repair authority to airlines and other civil operators. The synergy offered by the combined talents of the Aerospace Support workforce across these military and commercial operations provides a unique capability that is unrivalled in Australia.

Aerospace Support provides total life cycle support of military aerospace systems, from sites in Brisbane, Amberley, Oakey, Williamtown, Jervis Bay and Sydney.

The main support activities of this division include program management; aircraft production; modification and upgrades; aircraft maintenance; integrated logistics and through-life support and systems engineering.

Divisions:

Aerospace Support is structured into three divisions:

Tools & Infrastructure:

  • Fleet management systems and tools
  • Fleet modification and aircraft maintenance facilities
  • Workshop facilities for aircraft and surface finishing, non-destructive testion, hydraulics component maintenance, structures and bonded repair and aircraft life support
  • CAD/CAM systems and other associated hardware and software
  • Systems integration laboratories
  • Kit/Wire harness production and fabrication
  • Simulator (Mission and Laboratory)
  • Integrated maintenance management tools
  • Integrated logistics support systems and tools
