NES' Surveillance Systems provides services, products and end-to-end solutions to effectively manage, control, access and visualise large amounts of information sourced from terrestrial, airborne and space-based sensors. Capabilities provided to military, government and commercial customers include geospatial information solutions and tools, multi-sensor fusion capabilities, and visualisation packages, as well as support to one of Boeing’s flagship products, the Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system.
The Boeing Company is providing the Royal Australian Air Force with an Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system based on its Next-Generation 737-700 aircraft, combined with the new technology Northrop Grumman 360-degree electronically steerable Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) radar.
The Boeing Company will supply the Turkish Air Force with an Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) based on the Boeing 737 AEW&C product line. As a subcontractor, Boeing Australia will design and provide construction support for the ground support centre facility, provide product support deliverables during the Acquisition and Initial Support phases, and train personnel from Turkish industry to assume responsibility for product support after completion of the Initial Support phase.
