What is the Systems Analysis Laboratory?

The Boeing Australia Systems Analysis Laboratory (SAL) is the region's most advanced constructive simulation facility.

Within the Systems Analysis Laboratory a highly skilled team of software engineers and military operations analysts provide unparalleled decision support to defence customers through constructive simulation and military operations analysis.

Core to the SAL's capability is its staff that include military operations analysts with active service and operational experience in theatres such as Bosnia, Bouganville and East Timor and internationally recognised modelling and simulation experts.

Also essential to our analysis capability is structured process. Our processes have been proven and validated internationally on programs such as JAST Operational Requirements Definition (later known as Joint Strike Fighter) and International Space Station.
