The first radar-equipped AV-8B, the AV-8B Harrier II Plus made its inaugural flight on Sept. 22, 1992. The close-air-support combat aircraft is flown by the U.S. Marine Corps, the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force and the Navies of Spain and Italy.
