Chris Chadwick is president of Boeing Military Aircraft, a business of Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems. Boeing Military Aircraft comprises Global Strike Systems; Global Mobility Systems; Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; and Rotorcraft divisions.
Prior to this assignment, Chadwick was vice president and general manager of Global Strike Systems, responsible for the company's tactical fighter programs, weapons programs, and the T-45 Goshawk training system.
Chadwick was previously vice president of the F/A-18 Program. In this role, he was responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance of the F/A-18 family of strike fighters, including the F/A-18A/B/C/D/E/F and the EA-18G. This followed his assignment as the general manager and deputy program manager of the F/A-18 Program.
Leading up to these senior leadership roles, Chadwick served as the program manager for the Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey designed for the U.S Marine Corps, and as the program manager for V-22 Low Rate Initial Production operations for the MV-22 and CV-22, for delivery to U.S Air Force Special Operations Command.
Since joining Boeing in 1982, Chadwick has held a variety of progressively senior roles in engineering, program management and business development.
He served as the manager of F/A-18 Business Development, where he was responsible for domestic and international sales and global marketing. Prior to this, he was program manager for the Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) program and served as the Integrated Product Team lead for all Communication, Navigation and Identification and Electronic Warfare activities on the F-15, AV-8B, T-45 and F/A-18 programs.
These assignments were preceded by roles in business development on the F-15, AV-8B and T-45 programs, technology business development, service as the executive assistant to the vice president and general manager of Production Programs, and engineering positions on a number of U.S. Air Force programs.
Chris Chadwick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and a Master's of Business Administration degree from Maryville University. He is currently an Advisory Board Member for the Washington, DC New Leaders for New Schools and is also a Board member of KETC public television in St. Louis, Missouri
