Grant Dixton is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. He was appointed to this position in November 2007, and is responsible for legal advice and counsel to IDS. Dixton is a member of the Integrated Defense Systems Leadership Team and the Boeing Law Department Leadership Team.

Dixton joined Boeing in September 2006 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. In that role, he assisted in the overall administration of the Law Department and provided advice to Boeing's senior leadership on a range of matters across the Company.

Prior to joining Boeing, Dixton served in the White House, as Associate Counsel to the President. His responsibilities included acting as a legal and policy advisor on lobbying and ethics reform, tort reform, social security policy, and litigation matters. He provided counsel on issues related to the Departments of Health and Human Services, Interior, and Agriculture, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Election Commission. As a member of the White House Judicial Selection Committee, he assisted in identifying and evaluating candidates for federal judgeships.

Before working in the federal government, Dixton was in private practice at Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, DC, where he specialized in appellate and trial litigation. He handled commercial, intellectual property, administrative, class action, contract, and constitutional matters.

Dixton served as a Law Clerk, first at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit for The Honorable J. Michael Luttig, and then for The Honorable Anthony M. Kennedy, United States Supreme Court. He has also held positions at the United States Department of Justice, and Hale and Dorr, a law firm located in Washington, DC.

Dixton received his juris doctor and bachelor of arts degrees from Harvard University.
