Boeing Marks Final Assembly of Newest F-15E
ST. LOUIS, Dec. 18, 2001 -- Boeing employees in St. Louis today celebrated the start of final assembly of the 227th U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle.
The aircraft, to be delivered in June 2002, is the first of 10 new F-15E aircraft Boeing is building for the Air Force. Deliveries of those aircraft will extend through 2004.
