Boeing DIRECTV 11 Satellite Receives 1st Signal Following Successful Launch
ST. LOUIS, March 20, 2008 -- Boeing has acquired the first signals from the DIRECTV 11 satellite following its March 19 launch aboard a Sea Launch Zenit-3SL rocket, indicating that the Boeing-built spacecraft for DIRECTV Inc. is healthy and operating as designed.
