Boeing, Malaysia Airlines Announce Order for 35 Next-Generation 737s
FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom, July 16, 2008 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Kuala Lumpur-based Malaysia Airlines today announced at the Farnborough International Airshow the airline has ordered 35 Next-Generation 737-800 airplanes. The order is valued at more than $2.6 billion at current list prices. The airline also has acquired purchase rights for an additional 20 Next-Generation 737-800s.
