Boeing's presence at the 2005 Paris Air Show, to be held June 13-19, will help underscore the company's position as the global leader in the aerospace industry.
The company will highlight various programs that reflect its strategy of commercial and military balance. Among these programs are:
- The 787 Dreamliner passenger airplane, the fastest-selling new airplane program in the history of aviation.
- The 777-200LR, the longest-range passenger jet ever built.
- The KC-767A, the world's most advanced and capable tanker aircraft.
In addition, Boeing executives will give briefings on key programs and issues. Officials scheduled to speak include Jim Albaugh, president and CEO, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems; Mike Bair, vice president and general manager, 787 Dreamliner Program; and Alan Mulally, Boeing Commercial Airplanes president and CEO.
To complement Boeing's presence at the Paris Air Show, several Boeing airplanes are scheduled to be on display. These include the 777-200LR and the Italian Air Force KC-767A, as well as a Boeing 747 Freighter, the C-17 Globemaster III and the F-15 Eagle. The F/A-18E/F, flown by a Boeing pilot, will take part in the daily flying display.
