777 Biography

Kathleen Moodie

As director of Factory Operations for the 787 program, Kathleen Moodie is leading the implementation of the plans for the 787 factory activation.

Previously, she assisted with the start of operations at the Alenia Aeronautica facility in Grottaglie, Italy, which is building fuselage sections for the 787 program. Earlier, she led the worldwide integration and implementation of the 787 Tooling and Factory Equipment team, with responsibility for helping Boeing and its partners create a more efficient production system through the use of modern tooling concepts.

Before joining the 787 team in 2005, Moodie took an assignment as regional manager of Supplier Quality and Development for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems.

Previously, Moodie served in several roles as part of the Boeing 777 team. Her positions included Structures Manager, manager of the Interiors team and manager of the Final Body Join team. She joined Boeing in 1986.
