The Super Hornet is built in St. Louis, where Boeing workers point to these Down Under deliveries with a great sense of pride.

Boeing’s technology and innovations are crucial to its business, and the job of protecting the “company’s gold” falls to the Intellectual Property Management organization. Some of that gold, for example, is on the 787 Dreamliner, which has more than 1,000 patents granted or pending. With the theft of intellectual property on the rise, Boeing must make sure its breakthrough technology does not fall into the wrong hands.
