From Skylab To Space Station

Former Skylab astronaut Jerry Carr is slowly lowered to a full-scale mockup of the International Space Station inside the giant neutral buoyancy simulator at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. Carr, who now works for Boeing on the Space Station program, joined former Skylab astronaut Bill Pogue, former shuttle astronaut Bob Springer, and other Boeing engineers and technicians in a series of Space Station tests involving both extravehicular activities (EVAs), or "spacewalks," and intravehicular activities (IVAs) inside the Space Station mockup.
