Boeing 767-400ER Cruises Toward Production

Return to News Release

SEATTLE, Jan. 09, 1998 -- The newest Boeing 767 derivative, launched in April 1997, cruises over a coastline in this artist's rendering. Compared with the 767-300, the 767-400ER (extended range) features a longer fuselage, additional wing span and increased takeoff-weight capability. The 767-400ER will incorporate a new interior and an upgraded flight deck that can be programmed to look like the information displays in the existing 767 fleet.
