Kuwait Airways' First Boeing 777-200
SEATTLE, March 03, 1998 -- Kuwait Airways' first ever Boeing 777-200 rolls out of the paint hanger towards delivery this Spring. This IGW (increased gross weight ) 777 is part of a two airplane order signed in 1996. It carries an additional 14,220 gallons of fuel, housed in the structural center section, and flies farther than the initial 777-200 model. The airline's second 777 delivers in June. Kuwait Airways has been a Boeing customer for more than thirty years
