New Boeing 717-200 Makes its Debut Before Thousands
LONG BEACH, Calif., May 26, 1998 -- Thousands of employees and guests attend the rollout of the Boeing 717-200 jetliner at the company's Douglas Products Division in Long Beach, Calif. The regional jet is scheduled to enter service with AirTran Airlines in the summer of 1999.
