Boeing Installs Cargo Door on U.S. Navy's First C-40A Airlifter

WICHITA, Kan., Nov. 23, 1999 -- Workers at the Boeing facility in Wichita, Kan., install the main-deck cargo door on the company's first 737-700C (Convertible) aircraft. The U.S. Navy version, designated C-40A, will be certified to operate in three conversions: an all passenger configuration, an all cargo configuration, or a combination of both.
