Southwest Airlines Receives 737th Boeing Next-Generation 737

SEATTLE, Dec. 19, 2000 -- The 737th Next-Generation 737 produced by Boeing lands at King County International Airport in Seattle, its final stop before entering service with launch customer Southwest Airlines. The delivery, expected for Thursday, comes just three years after Southwest received the very first Next-Generation 737. The Next-Generation 737 is the newest, most advanced jetliner in its class, and is the fastest selling new commercial jetliner of all time.
