Boeing Flies U.S. Navy advanced targeting FLIR Pod on F-15E
ST. LOUIS, May 14, 2001 -- The Gateway Arch in St. Louis is visible in this image taken by a Raytheon Terminator advanced targeting forward looking infrared pod. That system, which the U.S. Navy is installing on its Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, was recently tested on the Boeing F-15E1.
