Boeing Delivers Seventh 737-800 To Air Algerie

SEATTLE, July 20, 2001 -- The seventh Boeing 737-800 to be delivered to Air Algerie, the flag carrier of Algeria, returns from a test flight. The new airplane was delivered just one year after the first 737-800 was delivered to the airline. The Next-Generation 737 family is the newest and most popular airplane in the single-aisle market, with outstanding reliability, a spacious interior and low operating costs.

Air Algerie also holds orders for five 737-600s, the smallest member of the 737 family.
