Another Boeing 737-800 Takes To Turkish Skies With Sky Airlines
SEATTLE, Nov. 20, 2001 -- Boeing delivered Sky Airlines' first 737-800 today. The carrier based in Antalya, Turkey, will be operating the jetliner under a lease agreement with GATX Capital, a finance and leasing company. "The plan to standardize our fleet with 737-800s is the logical choice for Sky Airlines," stated Talha Gorgulu, chairman - Sky Airlines. "Our passengers have enjoyed the efficiency, reliability, comfort and low cost of the current 737-400s in our fleet, and now they will have an opportunity to experience an even more pleasing way to fly with us."
