Greece Signs Agreement to Purchase Boeing Apache Longbows
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 02, 2003 -- The government of Greece has signed a contract to purchase 12 AH-64D Apache Longbow multi-role combat helicopters (see photo rendering below) with an option for four additional Apache Longbows. The Hellenic Army in Greece will be adding the AH-64Ds to its existing fleet of 20 AH-64A Apaches.
