Boeing Teams Receive Missouri Quality Awards
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 21, 2003 -- The Boeing C-17 program in St. Louis, was awarded the 2003 Missouri Quality Award for manufacturing for its established lean manufacturing systems as a strategic goal and its focus on eliminating waste, simplifying work, and increasing production. Modeled after the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Missouri Quality Award is presented each year by the Excellence in Missouri Foundation.
