Japan Airlines Selects Boeing 7E7 Dreamliner

SEATTLE, Dec. 22, 2004 -- Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced its selection of the Boeing 7E7 Dreamliner, with plans to finalize the order in the first quarter of 2005. Customer announced commitments for the 7E7 now total 112, including 56 firm orders. The 7E7 is the world's most technologically advanced jetliner and will establish new benchmarks in efficiency, economics and passenger comfort. The first 7E7 is scheduled to enter passenger service in 2008.
