Korean Air Joins Boeing 787 Family with up to 20-Airplane Order

SEOUL, April 11, 2005 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and Korean Air Lines today announced that the airline will order up to 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliners in a deal worth approximately $2.6 billion at list prices. The agreement involves 10 firm orders, with deliveries beginning in 2009, and options for 10 additional 787s. Korean Air operates Boeing 747-400, 777 family and Next-Generation 737 models.
