Boeing and Japan Airlines Complete 787, 737 Orders

SEATTLE, May 09, 2005 -- Boeing and Japan Airlines (JAL) have completed the final agreements for the airline's purchase of 30 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 30 Next-Generation 737s, previously selected and announced by JAL. Japan Airlines plans the 787 Dreamliner as its next generation, mid-sized, twin-aisle airplane. The 737s will replace and expand JAL's single-aisle fleet.
