Nippon Cargo Airlines' First Boeing 747-400 Freighter

EVERETT, Wash., June 09, 2005 -- The first Boeing [NYSE: BA] 747-400 Freighter to enter the fleet of Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) takes off from Paine Field, adjacent to Boeing's Everett airplane manufacturing facility. The new airplane is the first of four on order with the cargo carrier, and will provide NCA a new level of economic performance. Nippon Cargo has operated earlier models of the Boeing 747 freighter family for 20 years.
