Teekay Shipping Signs Agreement to be International Launch Customer for the Connexion by BoeingSM Maritime High-Speed Internet Service
LONDON, June 15, 2005 -- A radome containing the Connexion by Boeing Maritime Service antenna is shown above the Teekay Shipping corporate flag in this photo taken during sea trials in the fall of 2004. Connexion by Boeing and Teekay Shipping announced an agreement June 15 to launch the high-speed maritime communications service aboard Teekay vessels. Connexion by Boeing is already in service aboard five international airlines.
