Boeing to conduct Joint Heavy Lift study for Advanced Tandem Rotor Helicopter

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 22, 2005 -- This artist's concept shows the Boeing (NYSE: BA) Advanced Tandem Rotor Helicopter (ATRH). Under a $3.4 million contract from the U.S. Army, Boeing Phantom Works will conduct conceptual design and analysis of the ATRH for the Joint Heavy Lift program. The study contract is for 18 months.
