Boeing 777-200LR Lands in London after Setting New World Record for Distance

LONDON, Nov. 10, 2005 -- The Boeing 777-200LR Worldliner touches down at London Heathrow Airport at 1:30 pm GMT, after establishing a world record for distance traveled nonstop by a commercial airplane.

The 777-200LR is the longest-range commercial jetliner, capable of connecting virtually any two cities around the globe. It is the fifth 777 model. The first 777-200LR (Longer Range) will be delivered to Pakistan International Airlines in early 2006.
