Boeing Business Jets Offers New, Bigger Family Member
DUBAI, Nov. 21, 2005 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] Business Jets today announced it will offer a new version of the Boeing Business Jet based on the commercial Next-Generation 737-900ER. The business jet version of the 737-900ER offers 35 percent more cabin space than the BBJ and 11 percent more cabin space than the BBJ 2. With a launch order, the airplane would be named the BBJ 3. It will offer 1,120 square feet (104 square meters) of cabin space. The jet has an overall external length of 138 feet and 2 inches, and a range capability of 4,765 nautical miles (8,825 km).
