Boeing X-45As to be Inducted into Smithsonian and National Museum of the U.S. Air Force
ST. LOUIS, Oct. 02, 2006 -- Boeing's two X-45As prepare to takeoff at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., for one of their 64 unmanned, autonomous flights. The aircraft are being inducted into two prestigious aviation museums -- the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., and the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
