Boeing, Nakash Group of America Sign Deal for Two 787 Dreamliners

SEATTLE, Dec. 05, 2006 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] has signed an order with Nakash Group of America, parent company of Arkia Israeli Airlines, for two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner airplanes. With deliveries in 2012, Arkia will be the first airline in Israel to operate the 787. Arkia will operate its 787s on routes to North America and the Far East. The airplanes are valued at $366 million at list prices. Nakash Group is evaluating its engine options.
