Final Assembly Begins on First Boeing 787 Dreamliner
EVERETT, Wash., May 21, 2007 -- Final assembly of the all-new Boeing [NYSE: BA] 787 Dreamliner began today with a ceremony in Everett, Wash. The nose of the Dreamliner, known as "section 41," is built by Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, Kan. Boeing received all the major structure for the 787 from partners worldwide within the past month.
