Boeing Launches Italian Earth Observation Satellite
ST. LOUIS, June 08, 2007 -- The Boeing Company, through its commercial launch business, successfully launched the Italian Constellation of Small Satellites for Mediterranean basin Observation (COSMO) SkyMed spacecraft June 7 aboard a Delta II rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at 7:34 p.m. Pacific time. This was the first commercial Delta II launch since the formation of the United Launch Alliance in December 2006
