Boeing Celebrates the Premiere of the 787 Dreamliner

EVERETT, Wash., July 08, 2007 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] unveiled July 8 the 787 Dreamliner during a one-hour ceremony at its Everett, Wash., final assembly facility, attended by nearly 15,000 employees, airline customers, supplier partners and government officials. Emceed by U.S. journalist and best-selling author Tom Brokaw, the event was broadcast live via satellite worldwide and webcast, potentially reaching 100 million or more viewers. The all-new 787 is the world's first mostly composite airplane and is scheduled to enter service in May 2008 with Japan's All Nippon Airways.
