ST. LOUIS, March 10, 2008 -- From early November 2007 to the end of January 2008, Boeing conducted developmental, shipboard and operational flight tests of the Biological Combat Assessment System (BCAS) as part of the BCAS Advanced Technology Demonstration program in support of the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency. In this photo, a BCAS biological collection unmanned air vehicle (in the background) is ready to be launched from a U.S. Navy research vessel during operational flight testing.
