Alenia Aeronautica Completes Ultimate Load Tests on Boeing 787 Horizontal Stabilizer

ROME, March 19, 2008 -- The orange test fixture in Naples, Italy, encases the 787 horizontal stabilizer. A series of tests designed to apply large levels of stress, more than would be experienced in service, has been completed, moving the program one step closer to first flight.
