Boeing 777 Freighter makes first flight

EVERETT, Wash., July 14, 2008 -- The first Boeing [NYSE: BA] 777 Freighter, the world's most capable twin-engine cargo airplane, lands at Paine Field to conclude its first flight, which lasted approximately three-and-a-half hours.

Capts. Suzanna Darcy-Hennemann and Van Chaney flew the 777 Freighter which is the first Boeing airplane to carry the company's distinctive new livery in three years. Darcy-Hennemann is the 777 Chief Pilot and Van Chaney is 777 Deputy Chief Pilot.
