Boeing Successfully Completes Flight of 1st AEW&C Peace Eagle Aircraft Modified in Turkey

ST. LOUIS, July 17, 2008 -- The first 737 Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft modified by Turkish Aerospace Industries in Ankara for Turkey's Peace Eagle program is shown just after landing on its first flight. The 2.5-hour flight from Ankara, Turkey, verified the airworthiness of the aircraft's systems and structures.
