SEATTLE, Dec. 11, 2008 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today announced that Pat Shanahan is named vice president and general manager of a restructured Airplane Programs organization. Shanahan is responsible for all current commercial airplane production and development programs, including the 737, 747, 747-8, 767, 777 and 787.
