ST. LOUIS, Aug. 15, 1996 -- Harry C. Stonecipher, president and chief executive officer of McDonnell Douglas Corp., will lead a press briefing at the Farnborough Air Show on the corporation's renewed financial strength and its business outlook in commercial aircraft at 9:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, in Room A of the main air show press center.
Joining Stonecipher on Monday will be Mike Sears, president of Douglas Aircraft Co. Don Kozlowski, senior vice president of Military Transport Aircraft , will address the media at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, on board the C-17 Globemaster III in the static display area to discuss the C-17 and some of MTA's other product lines. Herb Lanese, president of McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, will lead a press briefing at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in Room A of the main press center on the future of the company's other military aircraft programs and international opportunities.
In addition, McDonnell Douglas has scheduled several other press briefings that will be held in the McDonnell Douglas press chalet, C 7-11, except where otherwise noted:

Some of the McDonnell Douglas products that will be on static display or participating in flight demonstrations during the air show include the C-17 Globemaster III, F/A-18 Hornet, F-15E Eagle, AV-8B Harrier II Plus, AH-64 Apache, MD Explorer and the MD-90.
Additionally, McDonnell Douglas' display in Exhibit Hall 4, F-3, will feature a full-scale interior mock-up of the 100-seat MD-95 twin jet, a special theater presentation featuring a military scenario, an interactive video on the Joint Strike Fighter, as well as a reconfigurable cockpit training device. McDonnell Douglas and 19 suppliers on the C-17 program will host a "Team 17" exhibit, which will feature a 12-screen video wall of the C-17 Globemaster III in action, along with well-known aviation artist Keith Ferris, who will be signing prints of his latest C-17 painting, "Global Workhorse." The booth number for Team 17 is F-2 in Hall 4.
