MELBOURNE, Australia, Feb. 18,
1997 -- Rick McCrary has been named to the position of vice president,
McDonnell Douglas Ltd. Australia.
In his new position, McCrary will
be responsible for all of the company's operations in Australia,
and will serve as the primary contact for all Australian government
leaders, industry leaders, customers and suppliers.
McCrary, 50, joined McDonnell
Douglas in 1990 as a specialist in strategic planning. In 1992
he became a field representative for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace
and was located in McDonnell Douglas' Hampton, Va., office. Prior
to his current assignment, McCrary was the manager for market
development on the F/A-18 program.
Prior to joining McDonnell Douglas,
McCrary served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 1990 at the
rank of lieutenant colonel.
McCrary holds a bachelor's degree
in philosophy from Georgia State University and a master's degree
in systems management from St. Mary's University. He and his wife
have a son and a daughter.
