Phantom Works Support & Services leverages new technologies and processes to provide innovative support solutions to commercial and military customers. The Support & Services organization exploits Boeing's core competencies to provide superior solutions in the following areas:

Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) is a technology and process that allows operators to move from maintenance action to management. IVHM also improves turnaround time through more accurate and timely fault reporting, simplified diagnostics, and efficient, proactive management of repairs. IVHM may also reduce preventative maintenance and inspections, improve safety, and increase the user's confidence in system reliability. The result is a safer, more affordable system with increased availability.

Maintenance, Modification and Repair Technologies (MM&RT) improves the efficiency, profitability and competitive advantage of Boeing service providers through focused technology insertion. MM&RT monitors current critical customer needs, investigates available or emerging technologies, and develops, demonstrates, evaluates and/or implements the activities necessary to fulfill these needs.

Network-Centric Logistics (NCL) provides correct, current and complete knowledge-based support information to reduce logistics footprint and improve system availability. NCL focuses on technologies and components that support system-of-systems solutions, including Distributed Resource Management, Fault Data Integration, IVHM, and Live, Virtual and Constructive Training. NCL also develops, transitions and deploys tools, products and services for airline, government, space and communications customers.

The Aging Aircraft program focuses on maintaining aging military aircraft as cost effective defense assets. That includes work on parts availability, structural fatigue and corrosion, and increased aircraft readiness. Support & Services applies new techniques for manufacturing, inspection, repair and supply chain management to extend the service lives and improve operational performance of aging aircraft.
