Boeing Delivers Newest Multi-Year Apache Longbow to the U.S. Army
MESA, Ariz., April 03, 2002 -- The image of one AH-64D Apache Longbow is reflected in the nose-mounted Pilot's Night Vision System of another AH-64D. Both aircraft have been delivered to the U.S. Army. One of the helicopters was the last delivered under a now-completed five-year, multi-year production effort. The other is the first built under a new five-year contract.
