Boeing Apache Longbow Lifts Off With New Eyes
ST. LOUIS, Jan. 12, 2004 -- An AH-64D Apache Longbow equipped with the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) lifts off on the first test flight of the new system. The M-TADS/PNVS provides a 150 percent improvement in performance and reliability over its predecessor.
